Beige concrete tile roof on a Tweed Heads residential property restored from heavy mould and biological staining via multi-pass soft wash treatment. Even colour return across the full roof surface and ridge capping.
Before & After
What We Did
Roof inspection
Inspected tile and ridge capping condition, confirmed soft wash suitability, and set up safe access.
Biocide application & dwell
Applied soft wash biocide solution at low pressure across the full roof. Allowed dwell time for the chemistry to break down embedded mould and biological staining.
Multi-pass cycle
Repeated chemical application, dwell, and controlled low-pressure rinse cycles across the roof to clear the depth of contamination.
Final rinse & gutter clear
Final low-pressure rinse to flush dead organic matter clear of the roof, followed by clearing flushed debris from the gutter line.
The Result
The roof was restored to clean, uniform beige concrete tile finish across all tile faces and ridge sections.
Soft wash roof treatments typically resist mould and lichen regrowth for 2–4 years in South East Queensland and Northern NSW conditions.
Suitable For
Soft washing preserves tile integrity and mortar while delivering longer-lasting results than high-pressure cleaning.
This Tweed Heads home had a beige concrete tile roof carrying heavy mould and biological staining across the surface. Multi-pass soft wash treatment cleared the embedded contamination and returned the tiles to even original colour, with the ridge capping matched to the surrounding tile finish. No high-pressure damage to tiles or mortar.
