Michael leads our landscaping team on the tools, bringing 20+ years of hands-on construction and landscaping experience across the UK and Australia. He's spent the last 14 years with Ace Landscapes — one of Brisbane's most awarded firms, where he was part of the team that took home 7 of 8 industry awards in a single year — specialising in the hardscape side of the craft: paving, concreting, retaining walls, fencing, and timber edging. Before landscaping he ran his own construction subcontracting business in the North East of England for 5 years, running new-build housing sites end-to-end from excavation through to completion, and later did civil formwork and concrete finishing on the Queensland University construction site with Herron Todd. He's a confident operator on excavators and skid steers, holds his QLD Construction Induction White Card and Australian driver's licence, and has a forklift counterbalance ticket from his time in epoxy flooring. Michael's the kind of tradesman who takes real pride in a job from first cut to final clean-up — clients consistently comment on his workmanship and the way he treats every site like it's his own backyard.
